Solve 6x - 2 = 4x + 13 for x.

put it into fraction form

6x - 2 = 4x + 13

6x - 4x = 13 + 2

2x = 15

Divide both sides of equation by 2.

x = 15/2 as improper fraction

x = 7 1/2 as mixed fraction.
