B. Christians call the Hebrew Bible the Old Testament

Christians call it "The Old Testament", and Jews call it "The Hebrew Bible", but they are virtually the same. It is a book that consists of a collection of smaller individual books written by different authors over a period of centuries. It describes the creation, the origin and history of the people of Israel and teachings about how to live according to the will of God, and wisdom about the good and the bad.

Jews also call them Mikra and TaNaKh, the latter being an acronym referring to the traditional Jewish division of the Bible into Torah (Teaching), Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings).

Besides this book, the Christian Bible also has the "New Testament", another set of individual books that the Jews do not have.
