Not eating or skipping meals will not make you lose fat. Starving ourselves will only cause us to lose muslces, not fat. You still need to eat right and healthy to lose weight. The proper way to lose 12 pounds is to eat healthy and have proper exercise. Fat is stored energy and it's hard to metabolize from our body. However, starving ourselves will only cause it to further stay and provide stored energy from lack of energy from food we should have eaten.
