The quadratic equation is described as:

x=\frac{-b+- \sqrt{ b^(2)-4ac } }{2a}

where a is the coefficient of x2, b is the coefficient of x and c is the constant.

Substituting and solving for x would result to:

x=\frac{-4+- \sqrt{ 4^(2)-4*3*-2 } }{2*3}

x1=(-4+ 2√(10) )/(6)

x2=(-4- 2√(10) )/(6)
