The answer is A) By transporting essential supplies to West Berlin using cargo planes. During the start of the cold war, the crisis caused the British to have to work around a solution to the Soviets blocking access, so they came up with a plan to airlift supplies. The operation was dubbed "The Berlin Airlift."
