Let us first write down all the information's given in the question.
length of the fish tank = 0.40 meters
Width of the fish tank = 0.20 meters
Height of the fish tank = 0.30 meters
Now,
Volume of the fish tank = Length * width * height
= 0.40 * 0.20 * 0.30 cubic meter
= .024 cubic meters.
It has to be taken into consideration that meters cannot be converted to liters but cubic metes can definitely be converted to liters.
1 cubic meter = 1000 liters
Then
0.024 cubic meters = 0.024 * 1000 liters
= 24 liters.
So the volume of the fish tank is 24 liters.

The volume (V) of a rectangular prism is the product obtained when you multiply all of its dimensions,
V = L x W x H
where L is length, W is width, and H is height. Substituting the given dimensions,
V = 0.40m x 0.20m x 0.30m = 0.024 m³
We cannot convert meters to liters because meter is a unit of length and liters of volume. However, we can convert m³ to liters. 1 cubic meter is equal to 1000 liters.
V = 0.024 m³ x (1000 L / 1 m³) = 24 L
