Captain Stacey is going to load her sailboat with jars of honey. She has room for 11 jars. She has allotted for 58 pounds of honey on her boat. She can choose from 3-pound jars (the variable j) or 7-pound jars (the variable h). Which equations would be a constraint to Captain Stacey maximizing her honey load?. . j - h = 11. . j = 11 + h. . 3j = 58 + 7h. . 3j = 58 - 7h.

To maximize Captain Stacey's honey load considering that she has to limit the number of jars to 11 and limit the weight to 58 pounds, she could use the equation 3j=58-7h where j is the number of 3-pound jars and h is the number of 7-pound jars.

The two equations that serve as a constraint to Captain Stacey maximizing her honey load are:
j-h =11 and 3j= 58 -7h
The correct equations for maximizing her honey load are:
3j + 7h =58
j+h = 11
Solving the two equations with two unknowns we can get:
j=4.75 = 5
h=6.25 =6
