When we plot points A, B and C. A triangle is formed with two sides that are congruent. Therefore, the points given forms an isosceles triangle. Point A to C has a distance of 5 units. Point B is located 2 units above and between the line segment formed by points A and C forming two congruent sides of the triangle.

The correct answer to this question is "isosceles."

After plotting and graphing the points A, B and C, the triangle shows two sides have the same length and the other side is different. So, it is not an equilateral triangle nor a scalene. So, it's an isosceles triangle.
