A. Both view abnormal behaviors as symptoms of underlying problems.
In a psychoanalytic perspective, it is believed that a person has unconscious desires and is fueled mainly by sex and aggression. Both the medical and psychoanalytic perspective may share a common ground in regards to symptoms but would most likely have a different approach for treatment.
