When a strong acid is in equilibrium, it dissociates into ions including a proton, H+ and an anion, which could be Cl-, Br-, SO42-, NO3-, etc. A strong acid dissociates completely unlike the weak ones. This means the concentration of the acid produces the same concentration of H+ and the anion.
