in the battle of britain, the German forces attacked british military sites, railroad , and industrial sites because : They hoped to decrease their supplies , so the british army would be unable to fight

By destroying those facilities, there would be a great chance that there will be a postpone in the supply distribution , which gave them an upperhand in the battlefield
