Let's get together and solve that thing for 'y' .


2x + 3y = 1,470

Subtract 2x from each side: 3y = -2 x + 1,470

Divide each side by 3 : y = -2/3 x + 490

There you are.
If you graph that equation, the slope is -2/3
and the y-intercept is 490 .
