4 books.bcoz 1lb+2lb=3lb.Toni can carry upto 11lb.So 3-11=8. One bookk weigh 2lb ,so 8÷2=4.

2(her gym clothes)+1(her lunch)=3
11(the total)-3(what we know)=8
8(the amount of room remaining)/2(the weight of each book)=4

4 books is the answer
