That way you know what kind of audience your writing for you can use different words with a lot more complexity. its completely different writing for kindergarteners and writing a paper for a college seminarĀ

A procedural text's purpose is to tell the reader how to do or make something. Instructions in a procedural text often come as commands with active verbs that explain in a clear way all of the steps that the reader must take in order to create, assemble or make a specific item. The most used type of a procedural text is an instruction manual. This is why in these types of texts the audience must be considered when creating the text. Based on what type of audience is the text formulated for, the need for specific words, language and a general level of difficulty will vary.
