l = w - 5
2*l + 2*w = 26
2*(w - 5) + 2*w = 26
2w - 10 + 2w = 26
4w = 36
w = 9
l = w - 5
l = 9 - 5
l = 4

The rectangle is 4cm long and 9cm wide.
