For this case we need to remember the definition of a line given by this formula:

y=mx+b

And we have the following points given: (2,3) and (5,8)

And we can find the slope with the following formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(8-3)/(5-2)=(5)/(3)

And using one point we got:

3=(5)/(3)(2)+b

And solving for b we got:

b=3-(10)/(3)=-(1)/(3)

And our equation would be:

y=(5)/(3)x-(1)/(3)
