Which of the following is true about the bisector of a segment in a plane? . a) every segment has exactly one bisectors.. b) every segment has exactly two bisectors.. c) every segment has infinitely man bisectors.. d) every segment has infinitely many lines that are perpendicular bisectors.. . It's the last question and I'm having a lot of trouble on it.

Answer:

c). every segment has infinitely many bisectors

Explanation:

A bisector divides a line segment in two equal parts. A line can have an undefined length but any bisector passing through the segment in a plane divides the segment in to two equal parts. And it is also possible that there may be infinite bisectors that can pass through the the same bisector points at different angles to divide the line segment in a plane in equal parts of two.

Therefore, every segment in a plane has many bisectors.

For the question: "Which of the following is true about the bisector of a segment in a plane?"

The answer would be C) Every segment has infinitely many bisectors.

Unless we only had a line segment, then we should only have one bisector. But since a section of a plane is given, then there should be infinitely many ways to cut the plane into two equal segments.
