At the malt shop a large chocolate shake takes 8/9 of a pint of milk. if the medium shake takes 1/7 the amount of a large ,how much does the medium shake take?

8/9 + 1/7= 56/63 + 9/63= 56+9= 65/63 = 1 2/63
it equals 1 and 2 over 63
