Regulation Z regulates: "c. truth in lending disclosures to consumers." The Truth in Lending Act (TILA) or the one where Regulation Z is under is a federal law. It was passed in 1968 where it helps ensuring the trust that consumers are treated fairly in regards to credit and lending.
