We can write an equation for each company where y is the total charge and x is the number of people so:

Equation 1 (A+ food):

`y=35x+75`

Equaton 2 (Super Carter):

`y=38x`

b) if she expects 28 guests we can replace that in bout equation and see which one is cheaper.

Equation 1:

`\begin{gathered} y=35(28)+75 \\ y=1055 \end{gathered}`

Equation 2:

`\begin{gathered} y=38(28) \\ y=1064 \end{gathered}`

So option 1 is the best option.
