I assume the question here is how to simplify the expression given. In simplfying we need to remember that only like terms can be added or subtracted to each other. Also, the order of solving the basic operators should be followed which is PEMDAS. First, we distribute all coefficients outside the parentheses and since there are no terms raised to a number, to be multiplied and divided, we proceed to the next operator which is addition. Before anything else, we group like terms then proceed with the addition and subtraction process.
