Find the area of the 12 right triangles using A = 1/2bh, and then find the area of the hexagon using the formula 3
√(x) 3/2(a^2), in which a is referring to one of the sides.

so the base is a hexagon with apothem = 9sqrt3 / 2
and the side adge = 9 m ,the height of a triangular side equal 17 m

area of base = 6*9*9sqrt3 /2 / 2 = 6*81sqrt3 /4 = 243sqrt3 /2 m^2

the lateral area = 6*9*17/2 = 3*9*17 = 459 m^2

total area = 243sqrt3 /2 + 459 m^2
