In order to find the slope, we must take 2 point in the graph, the "easy ones".

they could be

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(0,0) \\ \text{and} \\ (x_2,y_2)=(1,50) \\ \end{gathered}

where x's are hours and y's distances. The slope can be computed as

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

by substituying the values of the 2 points into m, we have

\begin{gathered} m=(50-0)/(1-0) \\ m=(50)/(1) \\ \end{gathered}

this means that, Tim travels 50 miles every hours. Which is answer C.
