The length of a rectangular garden is 5x+5

feet and its width is 2-3x feet. What is the
perimeter of the garden?

4x+14

Explanation:

we know that in a rectangle, 2 sides are equal to one another (opposite sides), and the other 2 are equal to each other.

so,

2(5x+5) for the first 2 sides. you'd get 10x+10

2(2-3x) for the other two sides. you'd get -6x+4

add them up, and you'd get 4x+14
