Commutative law states that in multiplication a x b = b x a (i.e. the product remains the same irrespective of the order of presentation).
From the options
Option B illustrates associative property
Option C illustrates distributive property
Option D illustrates commutative property (i.e. -8 x (5 + 3.1) = (5 + 3.1) x (-8))
