Akatsuki (Literally meaning: "Dawn" or "Daybreak") was a group of shinobi that existed outside the usual system of hidden villages. Over the course of several decades, Akatsuki took different forms and was led by different individuals. The Akatsuki members are: Kisame, Pain (Nagato), Itachi, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, Orochimaru, Deidara, Tobi (spoiler warning* Obito), Zetsu (black and white), and Konan Orochimaru was apart of the Akatsuki, but he left. it is a criminal organization of S-Class Criminals and Missing-nin and is the most wanted group in all of shinobi world. Their main goal is to collect all of the Tailed Beasts for their plan of world domination. Most of them are evil, except nagato, itachi, Konan and Obito to an extent. Konan was also drawn in by nagato's ideology and did what she felt was right. Obito was a good guy albeit he just wanted to believe in a false premise for a peaceful world.
