Answer: Persian women were allowed to own property while Greek women were not allowed.

Explanation: There was a great difference between women in Greece and Persia during the Classical Era. Persian women had much more freedom than Greek women. Greek women were not allowed to go out of the house without their husbands' permission, except for the poorest who had to go out to work in the farms and they were not allowed to own property. It was differeny among Persian women, they could have jobs otside their houses and they were allowed to own property.
