i think you mean
sqrt x + 5 = sqrt (x+45)

if you plug in x = 4,
left side = sqrt 4 + 5 = 2+ 5 = 7

right side = sqrt (4+45) = sqrt 49 = 7

so the answer is x = 4 :)

Answer: Option 'A' is correct.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

√(x)+5=√(x+45)

We need to find the value of x in the above equation:

√(x)+5=√(x+45)\\\\\text{ On squaring both sides , we get}\\\\(√(x)+5)^2=x+45\\\\x+5√(x)+25=x+45\\\\5√(x)+25=45\\\\5√(x)=45-25=20\\\\√(x)=(20)/(5)\\\\√(x)=4\\\\\text{ on squaring both sides}\\\\x=4^2=16

Therefore, the value of x = 16

Hence, Option 'A' is correct.
