What happens with insecticides and herbicides that we put on our lawns?

Insecticides are the chemicals that are used to kill the insects on the agricultural land. The herbicides are the chemicals used to kill the unwanted plants that grown with the main crops.

The regular use of the pesticides and insecticides kills the non targeted organism present in the environment. There continuous use makes the insect resistant to that particular chemical. These insecticides and herbicides mix with the water and soil that causes soil and water pollution. The soil fertility also decreases by the use of these chemicals.

They end up in bodies of water killing animal and plant life.
=> Not all insecticides are being dissolve. When it stays long in the lawn, rain will carry it and will mix with the body of water. Then the plants will absorb the water and causes the plant to die. Same goes with the animal if they drink the water with pesticides.
