Write the area of a rectangle as a product and a sum and how would I do that ?

Answer:

The product is a final result to an equation.

The sum is found by doing addition.

I need to know what the dimensions of the rectangle are, but a simplified version of it is

Algebra tiles- you ADD them up as they are to make an equation.

Generic Rectangle- You write your problems into the boxes (however many are given), then you put your answers into the boxes. You, lastly, add them up to get the SUM

as a product it would be length times two plus width times two. as a sum it'd be length + length + width + width
