The discrimiant in a quadratic equation is the part in the quadratic equation under the root

quadratic equation:


x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt[]{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

The discriminant is:


b^2-4ac

The discriminant can be possitive, negative or cero and indicates the numbe
