The passage reflects the point of view of Bianca. It is a bit confusing, as many names are tossed around. But let's follow the dialogue. Maya speaks first, and she is not the narrator. Then, Rin speaks. Rin then asks Bianca of her opinion. Bianca looks to Nina, but Nina shrugs. She does not say anything. The "I" in this sentence is Bianca talking. Hope this helps.
