Congruent values for sin x° and cos y° has angles:
C) 40°, 50°.
The reason is because : cos x° = sin ( 90° - x° ), or x° and y° must be complementary angles ( x° + y° = 90° ).
So: cos 40° = sin 50° and cos 50° = sin 40°.
