Hey there.. Lets solve this problem step by step

Given problem --> 5x² - 45 = 0

Step 1 - adding both sides by 45
5x² - 45 + 45 = 0 + 45
5x² = 45

Step 2 - dividing both sides by 5

(5)/(5) x^2 = (45)/(5)
x² = 9

Step 3 - taking square root on both sides to find the value of x
√x² = √9
x = 3 and -3

So correct option is D.

Hope this helps you.. :)
