 Factor 48x^2 − 26x + 3?

I would break it into groups. Basically that means split -26x into 2 different numbers that added together will equal -26x. That way, you can easily factor.

48x^2-26x+3
Im going to use -8x and -18x

(48^2-8x)+(-18x+3)
now you factor out the LCD in each of the parenthesis.

(48^2-8x)=8x(6x-1)

(-18x+3)=-3(6x-1)
since they both have
(6x-1)
you can factor that out.
Making the answer be:

(8x-3)(6x-1)
