As age increases, the value decreases. Older = less valuable
Value = k x 1/age
$3,000 = k x 1/6
To find k, use $3,000 = k/2
k = $6,000
Substitute $6,000 for k
$3,000 = $6,000 x 1/6 =
$1,000
