Read the excerpt below from act 4.3 of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar and answer the question that follows.

BRUTUS:
Remember March; the ides of March remember.
Did not great Julius bleed for justice’ sake?
What villain touched his body that did stab,
And not for justice? What, shall one of us,
That struck the foremost man of all this world
But for supporting robbers, shall we now
Contaminate our fingers with base bribes . . . ?

A.Brutus is disappointed that Cassius has not taken more bribes; that’s why they
murdered Caesar—for money.

Answer B.They murdered Caesar for “justice’ sake,” but now Cassius acts unjustly by taking bribes.

You find your answer by the very last line: shall we now
Contaminate our fingers with base bribes . . . ?

Even if you don't know completely what is going on with Caesar, that is fine. As long as you see that the character is feeling contaminated - dirty from the idea of bribe that is all you need know.
