Given:-

To find the value of x.

Now we find the shrinking factor of 32 to 24. so we get,


24x=32

Solving we get,


\begin{gathered} x=(32)/(24) \\ x=(16)/(12) \\ x=(8)/(6) \\ x=(4)/(3) \end{gathered}

So now with the help of shrinking factor we shrink 16cm. so we get,


16*(4)/(3)=(64)/(3)=21.9

So the required value of x is 21.9
