Hey man this is how i did it. I think it's right. Not sure

y²+4y+4=7

Then (y+2)²-7=0

Separate (y+2-√7)(y+2+√7)=0

Simplify y=-2+√7 or y=-2-√7

Hello,

y²+4y+4=7
==>(y+2)²-7=0
==>(y+2-√7)(y+2+√7)=0
==>y=-2+√7 or y=-2-√7
