Do you think Gupta enforcement of caste rules was a good idea? Why or why not?

No, because the caste system teaches some people are better than other people just because they were born in a higher class.

I think Gupta's enforcement of the caste rules was a good idea because it kept the people in line and peaceful. On the other hand, it was a disadvantage for the people who are in the lowest level of the system since they cannot change it. It also does not boost the morale in that level. Buddhist teachings were against it and would want equality.
