Answer;
Tap root
Explanation;
Root system in plants is a system that provides the other parts of the plants, that is the leaves and the stem with water and mineral salts. Root system also anchors the plant to the ground and holds it firmly in case of environment factors such as winds and floods.
There are two major types of root systems, namely, the tap root system and the fibrous root system.
Tap root system is characterized by having a main root from which other smaller branch roots emerge. This type of root is mainly seen in most dicots and conifers.
