Ok so in this problem we will use some laws that relate to exponents.
x^-1 = 1/x this is the law we will use in this case.
-6^(-3) simplified is 1/-6^3 then from there evaluate -6^3, which is -216.
So the final answer is 1/-216

So basically we are multiplying the number -6 3 times they are trying to trick you. BUT a tip is to think of it as regular multiplication and then applying that to exponents. So first multiply 6 times 6 whixh is 36 times 6 which is 216 so 1/216 should be your final answer.
