Comedies differ from tragedies in the way that comedies express and present comical situations, while tragedies focus on tragic events where anguish takes place in most of the overall sense.

Tragedies are more somber and something you can cry about while comedies are funny and something you can laugh about. They are completely the opposite of each other because of their mood and tone.
