Answer: The correct answer is
3^(-5)

Explanation:

We are given an expression:

3^4* 3^(-9)

In an exponential expression, when the bases are same, the powers get added up.

Here, the base is same which is 3. So, the powers will get add up.

Solving the expression, we get:

\Rightarrow (3^4* 3^(-9))=3^([4+(-9)])=3^(-5)

Hence, the correct answer is
3^(-5)
