His mission was to safe the israelits that were slaves in Egyp. He guide them out of Egypt on a process called Exodus. He was a messanger of God and he recieved the Ten Commandments that were wrote in stones. This commandments were laws that must be followed.

Moses was the one who introduces the 10 commandments. By then on, it was already established that the commandments will be the guiding rule of the followers
