The water tank will be filled up in 10 hours. Solution:
Hose B = 2 (A)
Hose C = 3 (B) ; 3 (2(A)); 6(A)
Equation:
Hours = Hose A+B+C
3 hours = A + (2(A)) + (6(A))
3 hours = 10A
A = 0.3 hours
to get hose A on its own:
A=hours
0.3 = 3 hours
=10 hours
