Jackie is painting the roof of a dollhouse that is made up of three right triangles. One side of the roof is a scalene right triangle with a base of 8 inches and height of 6 inches. The other two sides are isosceles right triangles with bases of 10 inches each. Jackie has enough paint to cover 110 square inches of a roof. Does she have enough paint to cover the entire dollhouse roof?

Area of a triangle =
(1)/(2)bh
Area of the scalene right angle = 1/2 x 8 x 6 = 4 x 6 = 24square inches
Area of the two isosceles triangles = 2(1/2 x 10 x 5) = 50 square inches
Total area of the roof = 24 + 50 = 74 square inches.
Therefore, Jackie has enough paint to cover the entire dollhouse.
