The point slope form of the equation of a line is

y-y_1=m(x_{}-x_1)

where (x1,y1) is the point that the line passes through and m is the slope.

Using the values given, we have

\begin{gathered} y-6=-(3)/(4)(x-(-4)) \\ y-6=-(3)/(4)(x+4) \end{gathered}

Therefore the equation written in the point slope form is

y-6=-(3)/(4)(x+4)
