In "The Yellow Wallpaper," which description of John indicate that the narrator does not trust him?

The Yellow Wallpaper is a ten-paged short story illustrating women's psychical and mental status in 19th century. Woman describes John's distrust with the following lines in the story:

He asked me all sorts of questions, too, and pretended to be very loving and kind.

After that sentence she says that:

As if I couldn't see through him!

This last sentence means that John was lying.

in "the yellow wallpaper" , there are lines that said :

The Fact is i am a little afraid of John
He seems very queer sometimes, and even Jennie has inexplicable look
It strikes me occasionally, just a scientific hypothesis, - that perhaps it is the paper
