the chances of getting a green jelly bean is 10 out of 24, if you eat it then the chances of pulling another green jelly bean would be 9 out of 23

Answer: The answer is 16.30%.

Step-by-step explanation: Given that there is a bag of jelly beans in which

Total number of jelly beans = 24,

number of blue jelly beans = 6,

number of yellow jelly beans = 5,

number of green jelly beans = 10

and

number of black jelly beans = 3.

According to the question, first we draw a green jelly bean, ate it, and then again draw another green jelly bean.

Therefore, the probability of doing so is given by

p=(10)/(24)* (9)/(23)=(90)/(552)=0.1630=16.30\%.

Thus, the required probability is 16.30%.
